At 10 days overdue Katie was admitted to Swindon’s Great Western Hospital on Monday 1st April 2013 for induction. Katie was regularly monitored and the baby (known throughout pregnancy as ‘bean’) was active. A routine check at 5:30am found no heartbeat; this was confirmed at 7:30am. Unfortunately we had to go through labour and Zachary Wroughton Gain Randall-Stratton was delivered on Tuesday 2nd April 2013 at 1:27pm weighing 7lb 2oz.
